Great days filming at the Laser World Championships at Hayling Island Sailing Club - nice interviews with Olympic Gold medallist Paul Goodison and upcoming star Alex Mill Barton. Video coming soon.
Do we like the idea of the next America's Cup being raced in multihulls ? The jury is out on that one I think. Need to find out more about the Youth America's Cup they announced in Valencia today - that could be quite interesting.

Don't forget to check out the Sailing Zone on - sign up to our Facebook page and give us your feedback.
Bit snowed under since we launched - huge interest from sports stakeholder and viewers alike.

Thanks to everyone who has contacted us and not forgetting all those who went that extra mile to help us get launched.

We are being sent huge amounts of high quality video which the team are busy sorting through and if it makes the grade, uploading for all to view.

Stay tuned.

Getting closer !

I am reliably informed by our development team that we are now only a matter of days away from launching.

The beta channel will be making history by bringing ALL sports under one umbrella - all sports from athletics to windsurfing.

At launch we will be focussing on 6 key sports - canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, snowsports, cycling and surfing then rolling others out as we get the content - looks like we could be up to about 30-40 in total in due course.

We're busy uploading content and have some great programmes to watch - stay tuned.

New look revealed . . . screenshot of the player

Launch version of the player incorporates the latest thinking in social networking, viral marketing and a neat navigation system that will give equal exposure to over 40 different sports.

We have just finished our first studio shoot with 3 new presenters and are about to start uploading programming ready for launch.

Launch date is getting closer (4-6 weeks?) and we are still busy talking to sports federations, sponsors and programme distributors so we have the best possible selection of video material when we go live.
Do you represent a sport, club, team or group ?

The SportzZone TV channel could represent an excellent showcase.
If you are interested in young sportz enthusiasts, then we should probably be talking.

The channel has a multi-focus objective - attract more young people into sport, keep the enthusiasts fired up and inspired and showcasing the achievements of the top 'juniors' as they head towards the world stage.

Ping us an email now and lets talk.

Presenter search - update

At last we have audition dates!

Can't wait to meet the guys face-to-face. We have some excellent candidates and looking forward to moving things on.

All can be revealed now - the reason everything was on hold was because our Production Partners, 1080 Media Org had the great honour of being chosen to run the online/in-house TV operation for BMW Oracle Racing at the recent America's Cup in Valencia. The team won the cup and we didn't get much sleep.
